Haverhill, MA- Alexandra Chandler is honored to announce that former candidate for Massachusetts’s 3rd Congressional District Keith St.John has endorsed her candidacy for Congress.
St.John says, “Her lived experience, professional experience, articulated message, and willingness to compromise in order to improve the quality of life not just for those of us in the Third District, but nationwide as well, to me, make her ideally suited to represent us during these times.”
Chandler responded to the endorsement and highlighted how she will incorporate St.John and his policy proposals into her campaign, “I welcome not only his endorsement but look forward to having his ongoing counsel as an economic advisor drawing on his experience as an entrepreneur and small business owner. I will champion the issues and positions he articulated in his campaign and that we both believe in deeply: green job creation and green energy as a key to sustainable inclusive prosperity, an infrastructure plan for high-speed rail, a modern electrical grid, and clean water across America, and comprehensive criminal justice reform, including decriminalizing marijuana at the federal level and an end to private prisons.
“Keith's campaign, like mine, was about these big ideas, not big money. On the trail, one other big idea he shared was his own personal motto: that "American bravery does not come from exercising your own freedom. American bravery comes from supporting and defending other people's right, to exercise their own freedom, however they see fit."
“I promise him, and all of you, that I will be brave in Congress, that I will not forget the big ideas that propelled us both in deciding to run for Congress, that I will work tirelessly for real progress to bring them to reality, and that I will work to create a better politics that is about a battle of big ideas, not a battle of personal attacks or campaign bank accounts. Massachusetts and America demand better."
Alexandra Chandler spent 13 years as an analyst and leader of analysts at the Office of Naval Intelligence, where she specialized in analysis combating the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and arms smuggling.
