Rep. Hogan is first sitting State Representative to Endorse Chandler
Haverhill, MA - Massachusetts State Representative Kate Hogan has endorsed Alexandra Chandler in the race to represent the 3rd Congressional District in Congress. Hogan represents the communities of Bolton, Hudson, Maynard, and Stow in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Representative Hogan said:
"I endorse Alexandra Chandler to be our next Congresswoman for Massachusetts' 3rd District. Alexandra has a positive vision to lift up all our communities, the expertise on all the issues to make that vision a reality, and the proven ability to work across divisions and build bridges to unite people and make progress against our toughest challenges for the benefit of all. She is the candidate who is best prepared to represent us and advocate for us on day one.
Representative Hogan said that Chandler’s career national security experience and her record of public service is part of why she is endorsing Alexandra: “Ever since Alexandra stepped up to serve our country in the Intelligence Community after living through the 9/11 attacks in New York City, she has been a public servant, answering a call to serve. Alexandra is answering that call to serve again in her run for Congress. I am proud to stand with her."
Chandler said that she is honored to receive this key endorsement, her first from a sitting state representative. “Kate Hogan is one of the most effective and dedicated representatives at the State House, working to ensure affordable healthcare for all, delivering resources to seniors and veterans, and advocating for family farms and the protection of our environment. The citizens and businesses of Massachusetts’ 3rd Middlesex have been fortunate to have her. I am so grateful to have Kate’s endorsement and support in this race and look forward to the benefit of her counsel as I serve in Congress.”
Representative Hogan will actively campaign for Alexandra Chandler and will be hosting a fundraiser for her in Stow planned for late July.
Alexandra Chandler spent 13 years as an analyst and leader of analysts at the Office of Naval Intelligence, where she specialized in analysis combating the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and arms smuggling.
